OUR MINISTRIES

5-Day Club

What is a 5-Day Club®?

During the summer months, children gather in backyards, parks and other locations for five consecutive days. They hear a Bible lesson, missionary story, and participate in exciting games and activities. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is clearly presented each day in a 5-Day Club.  Many children accept Jesus as their Savior during these summer Clubs.

If you would like more information about 5-Day Club please contact local director Judy Foster for more information.

Good News Clubs

Good News Club® is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship in which trained teachers meet with groups of children in schools, homes, community centers, churches, apartment complexes, just about anywhere the children can easily and safely meet with their parent’s permission. Each week the teacher presents an exciting Bible lesson using colorful materials from CEF Press.

Good News Club is action-packed with songs, Scripture memory, a missions story and review games or other activities focused on the lesson’s theme.

As with all CEF® ministries, the purpose of Good News Club is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.

Fair Ministry

CEF has a strong presence at many fairs and festivals across the state, where the children are invited to hear a brief presentation of the Gospel. Those that receive Christ are given Bibles and other helps to assist them to grow spiritually. This is our largest outreach by far and many adults stop by and tell us of when they were young and heard the Gospel and the difference God made in their lives. We are always looking for prayer warriors, greeters and teachers for the fairs. Youth Pastors, this is a great way to involve your youth group in ministry, with a low amount of planning but eternal results!

What is Christian Youth in Action®?

Christian Youth in Action® is a year-round program for teens, college students, and young adults. Beginning at our summer camp, we give young adults the opportunity to learn effective teaching techniques and evangelistic tools used to reach children with the gospel of Christ. You will experience the thrill of being a soul winner as well as becoming a better teacher and Christian service worker.

Why should your teenager go?
We encourage all teenagers that have completed their 6th grade year to attend camp. At this training camp, you will receive materials to help you teach children wherever you go! Most of our trained campers serve by working in the children’s ministry at their churches, proclaiming God’s truths in Good News Clubs at public schools, and/or training additional teenagers throughout the state. In addition, our small groups, meant for studying, practicing, and implementing these materials, provide you with opportunities to partner and join in fellowship with teenagers throughout the state.
